PVPHS Amnesty International is planning to raise awareness of human rights issues to the students of Peninsula from fundraising and participating in events hosted by AIUSA virtually.

Coding Club is a place for all programmers -- new and old -- to come and meet new people who share a common interest. Come and learn how to code in Java or strengthen your own previous coding knowledge!

Our club’s goal is to gather writers and provide workshops where members can improve their writing, make new friends, and gain inspiration by sharing work among fellow members. We have monthly writing challenges and host meetings where members can share their favorite books, read poems, exchange writing, and submit to the literary magazine.

We are teaching members about investing and about reselling. We want to share the extensive knowledge we have of these subjects so we can help them make money.

Direct Relief is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a stated mission to “improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by mobilizing and providing essential medical resources needed for their care." During the 2020-2021 school year, we will collaborate with other Peninsula students to devise fundraisers for the Direct Relief organization, while following COVID-19 restrictions.

Among Us Club helps offer a short and non-distracting break from the stress from school! This is a very simple club so donations are not required. 

Our mission is to expose students to different majors and careers within the business industry. Local businessmen and businesswomen will talk about their jobs and students will be able to learn more about business and gain valuable connections.

Throughout this year our club plans to meet once every month in order to make sure our club remains interactive and eventful! We don't have any events planned but will make sure to regularly meet!

We want to promote amusement of solving the Rubik's Cube Puzzle and refute its widespread notion of being impossible.

Our club works to recognize environmental issues within our school and community. At meetings we brainstorm solutions to these problems and work to provide environmental justice.

We have various activities such as practicing casting and tying knots. We may possibly be able charter fish and shore fish depending on the severity of the virus.

We will meet virtually and work on projects as a group together to spread awareness. Pictures will be posted on the club instagram.

We plan to meet once or twice a month to play games and watch Harry Potter movies.

We were not able to do much during the beginning of this year. But, we have been talking with KNHS for idea on what to do during the rest of the year. 

This club is for those who want to talk and play games all related to Disney.

Not only do we traditional book club meetings, where we choose a book based on a certain genre to read and then discuss it, but we also host fun monthly activities that all have a bookish theme!

We will discuss national and global issues and initiate engagement and interest in such topics with other students on campus.

There will be opportunities to do volunteer work at local raptor rehabilitation centers. Members also will be able to explore nature and observe the birds in their own neighborhood.

A place for anyone with a passion for the universe! We'll be watching and discussing space-related movies, documentaries, and launches.

This year, our club will be having monthly online meetings through Teams. You will also be able to participate in webinars, leadership calls, and training sessions hosted by the national Students Demand Action organization, while also planning and organizing events such as National Gun Violence Survivors Week like our club did last year.

Our club's activities would mainly include thrifting at local Beacon House locations for hours and to help spread awareness towards the environment and fast fashion.

This year, we will host virtual club meetings on zoom and buddy pair zoom hangouts, organized in breakout rooms or independently. Online hangouts activities will include games, crafts, dance parties and more!

Whether in person or virtually, we hope to meet up once a month and provide a safe, supportive forum where kids of all high school grades can educate themselves and others on breast cancer. We realize that this is a sensitive topic and will be understanding in every way when/if our members decide to share their experiences.

The Covid Connection Club provides a safe and fun environment for people to come and play virtual games, destress, or just talk. Our purpose is to bring people together and help maintain relationships, new and old, because of distance learning.

During the school year we will hold a fantasy sports league for students to participate in and be a part of.

Filmmakers Alliance is a club filled with fun and educational opportunities. Everyone is encouraged to join no matter their experience in filmmaking.

To develop the public speaking skills of our members and have them practice speaking in a friendly environment.

Iranian Student Society aims to connect all Persian students on campus while informing all students of Iranian culture. With current circumstances due to Covid-19, we will use social media to conduct virtual mehmoonis (Persian parties) and we will do a virtual Persian spirit week during the Persian New Year in March (Nowrooz).

This club aims to spread appreciation of Hawaiian culture through entertainment and other engaging activities.

We are a club dedicated to informing our members all about the medical field so they can gain a complete understanding of the variety of careers available and what that path to the medical field looks like. We have specialists from their fields come and speak as well as learn some useful techniques in medical emergencies.

Pen Pals International is a club dedicated to helping foreign students learn English by corresponding with them and helping them to practice their conversational English. In this club participants are able to connect with students overseas through email or video calls, send package and letters to students, and form new connections with foreign students.

Our club aims to educate and raise awareness about the importance of bees and other pollinators in the environment and how to help pollinators in our local community.

Engage in debates about several sports topics, learn more about famous athletes and their stories, and engage ourselves more in the world of sports around us. This year we have also decided to partner with a non-profit organization called the Play Equity Fund or LA84 Foundation in hopes of raising money for young athletes with less opportunities than us.

SWiM Club will educate our members on the culture of streetwear and inspire each other through fashion and music.

The Wounded Warrior Club raises awareness and funds for veterans in need of help with the help of the Wounded Warrior Project.
